About Us

Electel Construction Pty Ltd is based in the Central West of NSW, Australia. We specialise in the installation, implementation, construction and maintenance of telecommunication infrastructure. We have over 16 years of experience in technical, electrical, rigging and civil work across Africa and the Asia Pacific region. We strive to provide our clients with a turnkey solution for every site.

History

Electel Construction Pty Ltd started operating in NSW in 2014. Founder and Director, Francois Blackie worked on a whole range of projects over the past 16 years ranging from SDH rollouts, greenfield builds, GSM, UMTS & LTE builds in remote parts of South, West & East Africa and right across the eastern seaboard of Australia.

In 2014, Francois started at Electel Construction with the aim to provide clients with a good quality service and to walk the extra mile on every part of the site build process.

Training

At Electel Construction Pty Ltd all our staff and contractors are trained and have the minimum training requirements as listed below:

  • Industry OHS induction card

  • Work safely at heights

  • Basic rigging

  • Tower Rescue

  • First aid & CPR

  • Carrier inductions (GRN, Police, Optus, Telstra & Vodafone & other)

  • Radio frequency awareness training

We select our staff and contractors carefully and professionally and have an interview process in place to ensure we get only the best candidates.


Qualifications

Our staff are all competent riggers and technicians with relevant industry qualifications. We have the capability and experience to plan, manage, and execute complex telecommunication construction projects of all kinds. Our team is professional and reliable, and we will work within your constraints. We always stay on the job until it's done to the highest standard. 

WHS

Electel Construction Pty Ltd has a strong commitment to the safety of our employees, contractors, and the public.

We have developed a strategic WHS managementplan to ensure the safety of our employees, contractors and the public. We review this plan on a quarterly basis to ensure that all our staff and contractors are trained to prevent any accidents or fatalities.

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods, with regular review meetings.
